Accra: Use of GES Land for High Density Accommodation Facility

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) is assuring its staff affected by the redevelopment of its Roman Ridge land into a high density residential facility will be given priority when the project is completed.

The project will provide forty (40) flats and other ancillary facilities when completed. “Staff affected by the redevelopment are being relocated to other areas to facilitate the smooth development of the land”, a circular dated  October 19, and signed by its Head of Public Relations, Madam Cassandra Twum Ampofo says.

USE OF GES LAND FOR HIGH DENSITY ACCOMMODATION FACILITY.

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, working with the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Lands Commission has identified a private developer to help develop its land at Roman Ridge which is currently occupied by fifteen (15) officers of the Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Service and some staff of the Accra Technical Training Centre, into a high density residential facility.

The project will provide forty (40) flats and other ancillary facilities when completed. Staff affected by the redevelopment are being relocated to other areas to facilitate the smooth development of the land.

Management takes this opportunity to assure all staff affected that they will be given first priority on completion of the project.

It is the expectation of Management of GES that all stakeholders will cooperate and collaborate to ensure the smooth and successful completion of the project.
