Sangmorkie Tetteh is a freelance journalist and Media Consultant with 15 years experience. She holds a Masters in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Central University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications majoring in Development Communication with a first class honors from the African University College of Communications, all in Ghana. Sangmorkie covers a wide range of stories with focus on women and children, climate change, natural resources and diplomacy. She serves as Editor ZAMI Reports and also writes for the Climate Insight and TV Africa. Sangmorkie also contributes to Newzroom Afrika on DSTV Channel 405. Prior to joining ZAMI Reports. Sangmorkie worked with some reputable media houses in Ghana, rising to the position of assignment editor at GHOne Tv (2016), deputy news editor at TV Africa (2016-2021) and Editor-Digital Unit at the Ghana News Agency, GNA (2021-2022). She is credited with documentaries that focus on illegal mining and it’s impact on indigenes of mining communities, the impact of covid-19 on women farmers and women in the Agric supply chain as well as children, and Ghana’s bilateral relations with countries like Morocco and Canada. Sangmorkie Tetteh is passionate about advocacy hence she works with the Civil Society Platform on Oil and Gas and the Publish What You Pay-Ghana as Media Liaison Officer and Programs Coordinator. She is also a member of the Alliance for Women in Media Ghana (AWMA), the Coalition for Survivors of Domestic Violence, and the Affirmative Action Bill Coalition. Sangmorkie recently cofounded the Journalists for Tourism Advocacy (JTA) to train journalists on how to report on the tourism sector. She also founded the Gender Agenda to promote issues of women and children and impact policies. Sangmorkie is currently working on the risks tricycles pose on the busy streets of Accra and the dangers children are exposed to when left alone to walk the streets. She is based in Accra, Ghana. Joy Sena Anku is a freelance journalist with interest in gender, business, the environment and digital technology. She currently reports for ZAMI reports and is a mentee of freelance journalist Miss Zubaida Afua Mabuno-Ismail. She has written articles on women businesses, students’ entrepreneurship, public safety on UG campus, substance abuse and rehabilitation solutions in Ghana. In addition, she served as one of the first cohort of journalists in Accra to report on the impact of Covid on human right issues during the pandemic. A programme sponsored by Journalist for Human Rights International (JHR) She currently holds a bachelor degree and a masters in communication studies from the Ghana institutes of Journalism and the University of Ghana respectively. She is also a Marketing and Communication enthusiast and works with the Ghana Cocoa Board. Prince Kwame Tamakloe is a Ghanaian Broadcast and Online Journalist based in Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana. He has written articles on topics such as COVID-19 Vaccine, a Savior or a foe to the rural woman, Burning the northern cocoa tree, Stigmatization of COVID-19 patients in the northern region and climate change, the wildest northern enemy . Prince Kwame Tamakloe has attended fellowships including Young Africa Journalists Conference in Accra, Media Foundation for West Africa Investigative Journalists Bootcamp and the Ghana Network for Water and Sanitation Journalists Conference in Tamale. He has won various enviable awards including 2021 Merch Foundation Media Recognition Mask Up with Care Awards, D.A.B Radio Northern Regional Climate Change Journalist of the Year 2019 and the Ghana Journalists Association 2022 Health Journalist of the Year, Northern Region
